Meet the PR Pickleball Club
Paso Robles Pickleball Club is an Activity for Paso Robles Parks and Recreation at Centennial Park in Paso Robles. The club started in 2010 and since then has grown to almost 200 adult (18+) members. The club has five permanent courts operated by the city parks and recreation.
You don't need a partner or balls or even a paddle (we have some loaners), but good tennis shoes are a must. Visitors each register and pay $3 per day at Gate 2. See how to be a full member below.
Court Shoes:
It is very important to wear appropriate court (tennis) shoes. The correct shoes are non-marking and have cross-hatched (herring bone) tread designed to help players more easily move sideways as well as forward and backward. Running or cross-training shoes are not recommended and can even be dangerous to the wearer.

Hours and Days:
Join us for all the fun on Mondays through Saturdays from 8:00 AM (7:30 AM in summer) to 11:30 AM.
Play outside of club hours is free to all. Although the court gates are locked to prevent vandalism, a sign near the gate provides a phone number where you can get the combination, If you unlock the gate, please lock it upon leaving.

Fees:
Visitor Daily Fee: $3.00 per day per person paid at Gate 2 for visitors.
Full Membership: $60 per six-month session (January-June or July-December) online at Paso Robles Recreation. Dept. The Parks department charges a processing fee for online payments. No fee for payments in the office.

So what is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are fairly simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. It is now going Pro across the country.
It combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It is played with solid paddles and a plastic ball with holes. Most often it is played as doubles. Pickleball is said to be the fastest growing sport in America.
