This year the tournament continues its tradition of an enjoyable competition amid bountiful wine country ambience. Pickleball enthusiasts will play in this tournament coming from all over California and the western United States. The Wine Country Classic is one of the most popular Pickleball tournaments in California so register early.

The Wine Country Classic will be sanctioned by USAPA. Membership in USAPA through the end of the tournament is required to participate in a sanctioned tournament. JOIN HERE

Registration is now OPEN. Sign up early to make sure you have a spot. Registration will close when brackets and/or the total tournament fills up.

Location: Centennial Park, Paso Robles, California

Cost: $65.00 per player plus $5 per event plus a $10 Referee Fee
​
Includes: Tournament cap (no shirt, no swag-bag) and tournament medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each a skill & age level. 1st place award includes premium wine from local wineries.
Other: Raffles for wine and gift baskets.

Brackets are Both Age and Skill

USAPA Age Brackets for Doubles: 19+, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+

Age Brackets for Singles: 19+, 45+, 65+

Skill Brackets: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0
If not otherwise rated, use this chart to self-rate. -
Levels may vary or be combined depending on registrations in order to make competitive groupings. For small brackets, round-robin format may be used.

Important Info:

We are asking for referees. Even if you have not refereed, this is a "low pressure" way to get some experience.

No refunds after April 3, 2020. See refund policies upon registration.

Games played will be 2 out of 3 matches. Losers bracket 1 game to 15. Must win by 2 points.

Tournanment will be played with yellow Dura 40 pickleballs.

Last day to register is April 10, 2020. Tournament Director reserves the right to close registration at any time the number of registrants exceeds the number of court space available for completion of play in a timely manner.
